All About Beffie!

Hello! This is that section of a webpage that everyone just loves, the all about me section! Let's see...where to begin...how about at the beginning?

I was born in Houston, Texas, on June 15, 1982 (I'm 17, if you don't want to do the math), a nice summer day. My parents decided to name me Elizabeth Christine, after both of my grandmothers and various other family members. I don't remember much, until we lived in Georgia, which was when I was around four. I do know, in that 4 year time period, that I moved around a lot, and my first word was "shit." In October, on the 16th, my little sister, Deirdra Ashley (called Dee), was born.

Shortly after, we moved to Angleton, Texas, where I became best friends with a guy named Ricky Wesley...he'd be in college now, somehwere around 21 or 22...I'm currently looking for him, because, well, I miss him. Anyways, the next year, I moved back to Houston, on the outskirts, kinda, out near Katy and Addicks.

I made a lot of friends when I was in Houston. I went to two different elementary schools, Holmsley and Metcalf, between the grades of 2 and 4. I was in Girl Scouts, and I had a blast, especially when we went camping. My 4th grade year, my dad got transfered to Corpus Christi, Texas. For half of that school year, he flew down to Corpus, while Mama, Dee, and I stayed in Houston. We went to visit one time, and I thought it was a pretty spiffy town.

Around winter break of my 4th grade year, we moved down to Corpus. Actually, we moved to a small town outside of Corpus Christi. I remember driving through the town, and when we pulled up to the house, thinking "That was the town???"

I went to school at East Cliff Elementary, where I met Robyn and Angela, two girls I am still very much friends with now. The rest of elementary school was uneventful. I got there right as they started building the Intermediate school, for 5th and 6th graders. I went there my 6th grade year.

Junior High...I remember those two years kinda vaguely. Seventh grade, my Granny (dad's mom) had an anneurism removed from her brain. That same year, my Pa (the one married to Granny) died. Eigth grade was pretty uneventful. That year, I was mostly a loner. I had drifted from Angela a while ago, and Robyn and I were drifting apart. I was in Drama for both junior high years...I did pretty good at competitions.

High School....yay. My freshman year was horrible. I was in Drama, and a few of the upperclassmen had decided to make my drama life a living hell. I pretty much ignored everyone when we went on Drama trips. My sophomore year, my other Pa (on my mother's side) died. I still don't really know what he died of, but from what I've heard, it was just of old age. That same year, I had finally decided to do what I want to do, instead of letting other people dictate my life for me. My father had been working far off for a while now, while we stayed at home. My relationsip with him had gotten quite strained. That same year, I met my wonderful boyfriend, Jeremy. We carried out a long distance relationship, from San Antonio to Corpus Christi. And no, we did not met on line. We met at a live action roleplay event.

Last year, my junior year, was most certainly one of the strangest years I have had to face yet. My dad finally met Jeremy, and they seemed to get along rather well. Probably because they're both the analytical types. Jeremy finally decided to start his life over, and moved down here. In April, my father died, just about a year after my grandfather died. We had made up, and I'm glad we did. I really miss him. I'm really glad that Jeremy was down here with me to help me deal with everything. Needless to say, my school work seriously suffered (I suppose missing over a week of school at a time didn't help). Jeremy got his own appartment, with two of my friends, and another one moved in with them.

Enough of the past. Now for the present and future.

I will be/am a senior in high school. My household used to be hectic (with me, Mama, Dee, Will, Jeremy, Ray, and a slew of cats), but is now rather quiet, with myself, Mama, Dee, and our four kitties, Jester, Yuffie, Milky/Pause, and Mondaiko (means 'problem child' in Japanese).

My car of choice is a 1967 Camaro, either purple or black. My car of necessity is a grey Ford Taurus station wagon, year 1989, and named Bela. My favourite book series is The Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan. My favourite anime series is either Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (I do like other stuff, but Sailor Moon is just so nifty!). I don't have a favourite genre of music, but I won't listen to rap, R&B, most country, Tejano (if you don't know what that is, be glad), pop (Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, stuff Dee listens to), and so-called 'alternative' music. To give you a hint of my music tastes, some of the CDs currently in my CD case are, Tori Amos, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, the soundtracks to Macross Plus, soundtrack to Rocky Horror Picture Show, Clannad, and some Goth compliation CDs. If I were to classify myself, I would have to say Perky Goth. I am an ecclectic neopagan, but I deal mostly with the Celtic mythos. I am currently playing a computer hacker Brujah, and one of a set of identical Malkavian triplets with MPD with the Camarilla, a windling thief in an Earthdawn campaign, (hopefully) a Joy Girl/Playbeing in a Cyberpunk 2.0.2.0. campaign, and am running a Call of Cthulhu campaign.

I want to become an English teacher in high school, preferably an honors teacher, and an author. My mother wants me to do something with computers. I want to get married (hopefully to Jeremy), and perhaps have a a child or two.

Likes: Glitter, silver, faeries, PerkyGoths, music, my friends, candy, sugar, juiceboxes, the smell of clove cigarettes, anime, Bishouju Senshi Sailor Moon, fanfics, The Blair Witch Project, Pikachu, Pokemon in general (Jeremy had better let me play it SOON!!), Blue's Clues, Mr. Duggan (my english teacher), cyberpunk (game, genre, culture), my kitties!

Dislikes: MopeyGoths, salty things, not being able to go to sleep, Mansonites (not people who like him, people who WORSHIP him), all of that rap/rock music coming out (Limp Biscuit *what a sily name! biscuit??* and Korn), math, science, teenybopper magazines and music, and clothes, not having clean clothes, kitties scratching me while I sleep

If there's anything else you want to ask me, why not mail me?
